The 26th annual Taste of Amelia Island is scheduled for Sunday October 1st and Burlingame will be there. This annual event, to benefit the Nassau County Volunteer Center, promises to build on the excellent quarter century event from last year. Many of the best restaurants on the island will be represented to provide a true taste of the cuisine of Amelia Island. Chef Tom Gray of Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails will be Guest Judge to choose the Chef’s Choice Best Dish of Taste.
In addition to the Sunday night Taste, Burlingame will offer a Best of Burlingame tasting menu on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, September 28th to 30th. Five fresh, seasonal, made from scratch courses are available for 90 dollars per person (tax & gratuity included) and can be paired with five wines for a total of 110 dollars. Each night we will have 5 seatings at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00. This is a bargain not to be missed!
Tickets to Taste of Amelia and the Best of Burlingame Tasting Dinners can be purchased at: 904TIX Taste of Amelia
While we do encourage everyone to support the Taste of Amelia Island and the Nassau County Volunteer Center, we understand that may not interest everyone. During Shrimp Festival on Saturday and Sunday May 6th and 7th, Burlingame will serve smoked brisket and pulled pork sandwiches and local Mayport shrimp rolls. Get them to go or enjoy lunch and a beer or wine on the deck or in the air-conditioned dining room for a brief break from the crowds and the heat.

Jacksonville Magazine has just published a review of Burlingame. Unknown to us one of their editorial contributors visited Burlingame and decided we had what it takes to get on the Jacksonville radar. We are honored and humbled by their words and work hard every day to prove them true.
